Privacy policy

By Johan Ekström · Fact-checked by Linnea Dahl against Spelinspektionen's licence register · Updated 16 October 2026

Last updated 16 October 2026

This privacy policy describes how Hitta.casino processes personal data when you visit the website, subscribe to our newsletter or contact us. It sets out which data is involved, why we process it, how long it is kept and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data controller

LTD Mediascout operates Hitta.casino and is the data controller for the processing described in this privacy policy. Questions about the policy or about your data should be sent to kontakt@hitta.casino.

What data we process

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your email address and information about the consent you have given, for example when you gave it. The email address is used only to send the newsletter.

When you contact us

If you email us, we process your email address and the content of your message, as well as your name if you provide it. The data is used to answer your question, correct information on the website or hold a dialogue about a partnership.

Server logs

As on most websites, technical data is recorded in logs at the web host when a page is visited, for example IP address, time, which page was requested and which browser was used. We need the logs for operational security and to be able to find errors and trace misuse.

Cookies

We use necessary cookies to make the website work, and analytics cookies only if you have accepted them.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data and we have no user accounts for visitors.

Purposes and legal basis

All processing must have a legal basis under the GDPR. This is how it looks for each part:

ProcessingPurposeLegal basis
NewsletterSending you the newsletterConsent (Article 6(1)(a))
Emails to usAnswering questions, handling corrections and partnership enquiriesLegitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f))
Server logsSecurity, operation and troubleshootingLegitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f))
Necessary cookiesMaking the website work and remembering your cookie choiceLegitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f))
Analytics cookiesUnderstanding how the website is usedConsent (Article 6(1)(a))

Where we are required by law to keep certain data, for example records relating to a business partnership that are subject to bookkeeping rules, the legal obligation is the basis for that processing.

How long the data is kept

We do not keep personal data longer than is necessary for the purpose:

  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent.
  • Emails to us: for as long as the matter is ongoing and for the period afterwards needed to follow it up. Data that must be kept by law is kept for as long as the law requires.
  • Server logs: for a limited period for security and troubleshooting, after which they are deleted.
  • Cookies: how long each cookie remains depends on its function and is described in our cookie policy.

Who may access the data

We do not sell personal data and we do not disclose it to gambling operators or other advertisers. The data may, however, be processed by suppliers that help us run the website, such as our web host and email and mailing services. They may only process the data in accordance with our instructions and under a data processing agreement.

If a supplier processes data outside the EU/EEA, the transfer must have a basis in the GDPR, for example the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. We may also need to disclose data where the law requires it, for example at the request of a public authority.

Links to gambling operators and other websites

Hitta.casino contains links to other websites, including public authorities and gambling operators. When you leave our website, the other website’s own privacy policy applies. If you register with a gambling operator, that operator is the data controller for the data you provide there, and its terms and policy apply.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights:

  • Access: you can find out what data we hold about you and get a copy of it.
  • Rectification: inaccurate or incomplete data will be corrected.
  • Erasure: you can request that data be erased, for example when it is no longer needed.
  • Restriction: you can request that processing be restricted, for example while an objection is being investigated.
  • Objection: you can object to processing that we base on legitimate interest.
  • Data portability: data you have provided yourself on the basis of consent can be given to you in a machine-readable format.
  • Withdrawal of consent: you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link in the mailing, or change your cookie choice.

Email kontakt@hitta.casino if you want to exercise any of your rights. We may need to confirm your identity before we release any data.

Complaints

If you believe that we are processing your personal data incorrectly, please contact us first and we will try to resolve it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), which is the supervisory authority for data protection in Sweden.

Security and minors

We protect personal data with technical and organisational measures and limit access to the people who need the data to do their work. No measures provide complete protection, but we work to keep the risk as low as possible.

Hitta.casino is aimed at people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data about minors, and if we learn that this has happened, we delete the data.

Changes to the privacy policy

We update the privacy policy when our processing of personal data changes or when the rules require it. The top of the page shows when the policy was last changed.
