About Hitta.casino
About Hitta.casino in brief: we map the Swedish licensed gambling market. Here you can see which company owns which brand, which licence holder operates each casino and what that means for you when it comes to bonuses, Spelpaus (the national self-exclusion register) and comparisons between sister sites.
We do not review casinos with ratings and we do not publish bonus toplists. The site is designed as a reference work: you should be able to find out who is behind a gambling operator before you sign up, and understand why two casinos that look completely different are sometimes connected.
What you will find on Hitta.casino
The content is divided into three parts. Under networks we describe the groups: which legal entities they have, which Swedish brands belong to them and what ownership changes have taken place. Under sister sites we start from an individual casino and show which other brands sit within the same group.
The guides explain the rules that govern the market, such as the bonus rule, wagering requirements, Spelpaus and the difference between a Swedish and a foreign licence. Common to all our content is that we only cover operators licensed by Spelinspektionen (the Swedish Gambling Authority). Unlicensed sites get neither space nor links.
Why a map of licence holders is needed
One and the same company can run several casinos under different names, and a group can have several companies with their own licence. That matters to you as a player. Under Spellagen (the Gambling Act), a licence holder may only offer a bonus the first time you play with it, and the rule applies per licence holder – not per brand or group.
During 2025 and 2026 several large groups have moved their Swedish brands to their own licence-holding companies. Anyone who wants to know what applies today therefore needs up-to-date information, not what a comparison said a few years ago. That is the gap we want to fill.
How we work with facts
Every piece of information about licences and ownership must be traceable to a source. We rely on Spelinspektionen’s decisions and licence register, the operators’ own footers and terms, and annual reports and press releases. When a detail is only found in the trade press, we say so.
We have not opened accounts or made deposits at the casinos we describe, and we never write as if we had. When we repeat something an operator states about itself, we say so. Rather than guess, we leave out information we have not been able to confirm.
Our pages show when the information was last checked. If we or you find an error, we correct it and update the date. How sources are weighed and what is required before a detail is published is described on our page about how we check the facts.
The editorial team
The articles are written by an editorial team with clearly divided responsibilities:
- Johan Ekström – editor. Responsible for licences, networks and sister sites, and the team’s fact-checker.
- Sara Holmberg – writes about bonuses and terms, including the bonus rule and wagering requirements.
- Linnea Dahl – covers news and is responsible for the content on responsible gambling and Spelpaus.
Articles about licences and ownership are fact-checked before they are published. If a detail changes in substance, the page gets a new check date.
How Hitta.casino is funded
Hitta.casino is run by LTD Mediascout and funded through affiliate partnerships with gambling operators. This means we may receive commission when a reader goes on to an operator via an advertising link and becomes a customer there. That is how the site can be free to read.
The commission does not affect the information we publish. A group we work with gets the same description of licences, owners and sanctions as one we do not work with, and nobody can buy a better position because we do not rank casinos. More about our partnerships and how advertising is labelled can be found in our advertising disclosure.
About Hitta.casino and responsible gambling
Gambling for money is entertainment that costs money, not a way to make money. The content is written for adult readers aged 18 and over. If you want to take a break from gambling, you can exclude yourself from every operator with a Swedish licence via Spelpaus.se, and Stödlinjen (the national gambling helpline) answers on 020-819 100 if you need someone to talk to.
Get in touch
